Very warm evening here, although pitch dark now very pleasant, plenty of dragonflies around and a baby fox which almost let me and the dog get up really close, must remember my cap tomorrow as haven’t needed it since June, one sore scalp here

Last night 3 am the noisiest thunderclap i have ever heard.
Followed by lightning and thunder a little further away.
After i picked myself up from the floor i quickly headed to Netweather to check the radar.
It showed the shower had moved in from the Southwest gaining power
and was passing by pretty quickly.Strange that the lightning strikes had not shown up on the lightning sites i checked at the time.
The first clap of thunder i believe will go down in legend in these parts.I have been told half the town took to social media to discuss what was happening.
The other half are still shaking and unable to communicate yet.
Weather at the moment rain
temp 14cHave a nice day as they say, if not rumours are building of a sunny day next Thursday the 10th.
House shaker that was! then plenty of bright flashes and no thunder, strangely

That cartoon was drawn in 1936. Must have been like that at the seaside today.
It was rather choppy to say the least, another out of character day, quite getting used to this now

Rain just about packed in, the drain was making funny noises earlier, just hoping it was from the water and not pennywise

I have a leak in 3 parts of the house, the major leak has left nearly 12 inches in the bucket, this is in 12 hours, could have been more but had to empty the bucket last night to give to the daughter as she’s been to a party and had a few too many, but today it’s totalled up to about 12 inch

There was some awesome cloudscapes today, anvils left right and central, big bubbly tops illuminated by sunlight then the other half shaded, most of this was well in the distance but so tall

Is it possible to get S.A.D in July

This is actually the roughest July evening I’ve ever known in 40 odd years, disgusting

Good storm rolling through, could hear the booms in the ice arena, came out and it was the longest drive home with the torrential rain, visibility very low and lots of surface water, plenty of bright flashes too.

Brilliant day for working outdoors, warm cloudy and drizzly, when the drizzle hits you it’s refreshing with a strong breeze, my bald head not needing a lube, looking forward to a couple of weeks off mid July, loads of work in the garden to get through, 18c partly cloudy with a refreshing sea breeze please

It’s about 20 degrees higher in the house than it is outside now
doors and windows open to cool this place down, honestly I’ve never known such humidity even here, felt literally wiped out since May so this new weather pattern might make working outside more bearable been sapped of energy and mood the last few weeks, who’s looking forward to winter already?
