Rumbles of thunder now as the storm moves onwards towards Lydney area. Some hail larger than pea sized was falling very briefly here.

Ohh wow that was quick huge clouds the one near Chepstow way

Cumulus are starting to tower here in Stoke. Very rapid development.

Got some decent convection towards Leicester, now being obscured by low towering cumulus. It has definitely improved over the last half an hour here.

Sadly too far east for any action today by the looks of things. Against that hottest day of the year so far to enjoy.

Now surrounded by towering cumulus, some developing big bases.

 The PIT think you could see something if storms break out across  the Midlands and move NE, Arome kind of shows that happening

Hmmm, cell north of Bristol looking a little suspicious on radar for a second. Would keep an eye on it, shear is supportive of mini-supercells.

 WeatherArc I definitely wouldn't rule it out. I'm just S of Cheltenham chasing and hoping for it to veer a little right and head towards us!

Constant rolling thunder from the approaching storm here, hope it goes over head and not to the side of me

 Cain just seen my first bit of lightning as it approaches, thunder is none stop, very very active, cant wait till its overhead

Just look at that cell near Cardiff currently over the sea inlet, one of the most prolific lightning rates I think I have ever seen. God help any fisherman in that area. I won't get anything today but it's still very exciting looking at how potent these cells are becoming
