Heavy snow here too. Something like an inch but it is drifting about a bit.

Nothing in the South-East, as expected. Unless you call a frosty start a "White Christmas"!

Funny, a week ago, we were all going to be waking up to a white Christmas morning. Seems confined to the mountains of Scotland (nothing really unusual in that!)

Wonder if I will EVER see such a thing [because of all the false starts, etc etc, wont be happy until I wake up on Xmas to see snow of January 1981 proportions [Remember that in Kent, anyone?] ]

Morning all and seasons greetings. Just enough snow here (about half a centimetre) to make it white but not quite enough to make it really seasonal.

At the moment all the cumulus, and some cumulonimbus, seem to be to the north and north east of me.

Good morning everyone and season`s greetings.

As i woke up it was just starting to snow onto dry roads & surfaces at 8:10am. Shower only lasted about 10-15 mins, has given the slightest of dustings. Can see another shower closing in.

Happy Christmas, and what a wonderful, wonderful scene I have woken up to!

Its a blizzard here! Really heavy, and after only 5 minutes its settling!

This is the best Chrsitmas present ever; I am thrilled!

And just for the record I am in Addingham, not Cumbria!

Fantastic, wonderful stuff....yes WB is a happy bunny.

Snow stoped here around 2am when it began to settle. Goving as dusting on VERY wet surfaces, was like a blizzard for a time :D

Shopwers packing in again though :)

Looks like i might get it all day...

Merry Xmas fellow net-weather members and guests.

A slight dusting on snow in these parts, settled on the grass and cars and about 1cm worth, on the roads it's melted a little due to the wet surface.

As I type now, it's trying with all it's effort to snow, but still very light. A White Chrimbo!! Yipeeeee :D

Temp is minus 1c

Light snow shower at 9.00am from very thin clouds!!

Lasted 5 mins and gave a dusting.

Loads of cumulus and cumulonimbus to the west and north - Cheshire, North Staffordshire so maybe some more to come

Light snow shower here. Lots of small flakes. Apparently it has been snowing heavily nearby. 0.5C.

Even got the slightest dusting on the back roof.

Snowing/hailing on and off for the past 3 hours, dusting on grass, but is wet on the concrete :s
