Low cloud cleared at about 1300 and it's now totally clear and sunny and the temp is rising although with a switch of wind to the W today I don't think it will end up as hot. 27c right now, 36 in the sun on the patio and earlier I put my mobile on the thermometer setting, put it in the sun and it went up to 55c :!:

Not as hot today, top temp was 29c,which then backed off to 27c.Very humid though,so was very 'sticky'.Bring on them storms!!!!

It's 18.5ºc here, in Watford, with no wind to speak of. There's no cloud cover either, unless you count the high level clag that always accompanies Summer Highs - I have orange stars over Watford!

Good morning all, a hot sticky night again here in Swindon.This morning it's all blue skies with a slight 'haze' to it,and 23c.I think the haze will burn off shortly,giving us another hot and sticky day,
