The low here was -4.1°C last night, which is the lowest reading since March 2nd 2004. There are also icicles! I havent seen any for years!

After a few -6s so far this season last night went lower at -7c. The lowest since 27th Feb 2004. Ground frozen solid and easy for alking across fields and through woods.

Technically yesterday was a frost day as the temperature was -2.7°C at midnight and didnt rise above freezing before 9am. This makes it the 7th airfrost of the month, taking the total above the average of 6 air frosts here for December.

Yes, minus 3.3 C here last night. Certainly a lot more frosts recorded this winter in NW England. The lake at the back of my house seems to have been semi- frozen for weeks.
