Once the skies cleared the temp plummeted to a harsh -4c.

Very frosty and icy this morning with frozen slush on cars following a shower late yesterday.

Frost here again this morning... temperature overnight was minus 6c.

Frost still lingering now in shady spots.

The temp reached the dizzy heights of minus 0.9c around noon, but is falling again now.

First day for years when the temperature hasn't risen above zero.

Temperature maxed yesterday at 0.0c, so an ice day, depending on how accurate my weather station is obviously. I can't remember a max as low as that in my lifetime, but I am probably wrong. Strangely, temperatures rose to 1.6c at 1am today, before plummeting to -3.7c, the 25th airfrost of the season.

temp down to -0.2C already after a max of just 0.6C. Will have to search through my data to find a lower day max than that.

Turning very cold with a current temperature of -3.5C, not as cold as it was in Zurich this morning when I left when it was -6C but it is cold enough that the garden is white and all the cars are covered.

This morning there was a severe frost - with the temperature at -8C at 9 o'clock. At lunch it had risen to -5C. And then by about 3 o'clockish the temperature was at 0C - A very cold day.

Just now the weather is much like the report from 'CatchmyDrift' - Cold and foggy.

Frost has lingered all day and the temp did not rise above -1 all day. The temperature is now down to -4 and the frost has thickened. I have recently been out and the local roads are very dicey.

A pic is attached that I took earlier:

I dont think I could beat that in my location even in -20°C 850hPa air! It is -2.8°C here however, so another frost - the 6th of the month so far.
