Snow has just stopped here. The area seemed to split as it moved south from Lancashire with the heavier stuff moving over Nottinghamshire. Estimated 4-5cm cover.

Woke up and there's 4 inches of snow! It'll be interesting trying to get out and about... I live on a hill and the only road off it is quite steep.

Careful how you go Wibs :drinks:

About 6cm, very similar to yesterday but without the nice drifts.

Light snow first thing, now much heavier but not really settling apart from some roofs. Kids are excited though and they've got chocolate

Been snowing here since before 8am and still snowing lightly now, but not settling. Now if this had been a couple of months ago...it probably wouldn't have settled either! :drinks:

In inner south London moderately heavy thick-flaked snow for 20 mins from 8.50am. Then intermittent light rain and sleet. Transient dusting on garden walls not much else. Still mustn't grumble: 1. I never expected anything more than this; 2. This is the first snow this winter; 3. To get a decent covering in London away from the Essex and Kent fringes and the hillier parts of Croydon requires every variable indicator to be less than marginal.

regards

ACB

Light snow just started to fall down on the coast in Hythe, Kent. :good: Flakes not big enough to see if it's settling yet but I imagine it will since there is still ice on the ground from the frost.
