Snow Watch: Midlands & C Southern England

You must have snow in Basingstoke - we have a good covering here just past Popham off the A303?

Nope sadly not, I've been eagerly waiting for it and nothings happened. It was bright and sunny all day, its got colder and colder (currently -3) my weather station says 53% humidity with a dry and bright tendancy.

I'm at a loss as to why we haven't got any.

Just ENE/NE of B1 postcode is some snow I think. 1 to 4mm/hr rate rainfall equivalent?

The other thing to watch in regards to snowfall in CS is when the winds swing back slightly more to the true ENE, like this afternoon the showers from the streamer may well end up effecting this region again in greater force then they currently are, as the wind right now is only a shade north of east.

how is chi doing btw? I see Brighton is doing ok....

light snow hear also , the heavier stuff always goes slightly north to sollihull and brum as its a lot higher, but looking at te rader tonight looks quite good for our part of the uk xx

Yeah I went through and charged all my batteries for the camera, told everyone I knew to expect the worst, and now I have major egg on my face! Doh!

I was looking at some snow prediction charts for this week, and thursday looks the best with 4cm.

It had Monday down for 1cm.

Hopefully it might be wrong though!

Still snowing but the flakes are like small ice crystals-like snizzle but in icicle form! And i was just thinking, shouldnt we have a new thread with nearly 32 pages?
