You'd think they would (and im sure they do) collect mobile phone numbers and just sent out texts advising students... this is the 21st Century after all haha :)

no we have to check the main page of the uni website before we go in. Gone cloudy here and quite dull.

Sorry, I meant thats what they should do... surely they don't think students check that every morning, when they are hungover and have 5minutes to get to lectures... I know I didn't! (Not that I ever get hangovers... honest)

Is he right? do you think?

Its quite possible although 3 inches would be a more conservative figure

The precip is in touching distance of you now, shows how slow moving it is, i think there definately gonna be some heavy snow for alot of ppl the question is will people get to enjoy it or is it going to be washed away

Just back from walking the dog and everything around here is still white, out of curiosity I've just stuck a ruler into the snow on my patio table, it's still 6cm deep.

Temps today have got no higher than 2c, already back down to 1.3; XC weather have Bristol as 2c, dew point -3, we're a bit colder up here on the hills so I'm hoping BIG time we get snow. Don't give a damn if that's straw clutching...

Loadsa: I know Cocker's are a bit :whistling: , all part of the appeal, I must be bonkers though, we've already got a 6mth old springer spaniel. The cat's rapidly loosing the will to live....

5 of us on demolition duty now, who's bringing the sarnies and flask of coffee?

Really? I'm sure that was the reason I couldn't remember my first year... although it was noticeable how the work increased and nights out decreased in the remaining years. :whistling:

Looks like sleet again here...temps have climbed a little bit again. All too much for me...where did I put that Corona

Just over 4 hours not long, we could hopefully get about 10 hours snowfall but thats being optimistic I reckon, reminds me of the old days, this cloud's getting slightly darker from the west now oh yes snow is in the air love it
