temp down from 6.7C to 5.1C with a sharp burst of rain along with a wind veer from wsw to wnw. probably the first cold front shown on most actual weather charts this morning

According to the BBC radio northampton 3 day forcast,its thursday afternoon and friday we should see sustained snow in northants and the west midlands counties. Not much worth talking about befor ethen, its seems to be taking its time getting here!!!!

update on previous wx report; temp fell to 3.9C by 1300, still with slight rain, now down to 3.6C again with slight rain.

so a temp drop of 2.8C which should give those south of here some idea of the temp drop to expect.

I've been waiting nearly 13 years for a good sustained fall of snow, Frank. Wished that large low pressure currently sitting East of Moscow was sitting slap bang on top of us.

I spose its because we just dont hardly get any sustained snowfull here, ever, that lasts more than a few hours at the most.Just makes us snow lovers more eager and impatient!
