Warm & sunny so far with occasional cloud. Breezy and 20.4c so far. Not sure where the supposed 26c will come from - more like 23-24c at most which would still make it the hottest day since those 2-3 days back in June. A summer of poor maximums it has been!

Managed to creep up to 22.6c now, a slight haze in the sky but now its more blue skies. Still cannot see it being 30c here. Maximum temps seem to peak at around 2-4pm here. As I said earlier 25-26c is likely.

Well, it hasnt turned out as bad here as it might have, the threatened rain didnt arrive, the sun appears every so often, and its up to 23°C, that pesky breeze is still about tho. All in all no too bad

A mainly cloudy and fairly warm morning here with just one or two short sunny intervals. Temp' is 19.7c with a f4 S breeze. The cloud is much more broken to the east but thicker cloud keeps rolling in from the south and south west.

Hit 26c 5mins or so ago. Currently 26c. The temp rise per hour has dropped now tho, was around 2.3c/hr earlier its now a little more conservative 1.5c/hr. Still time for it to go up another degree or so. Generally hit the top temperature at around 2.30 - 3.30pm so I wouldn't put it past reaching 27 or 27.5 before it starts to slowly fall away.

Top temp this month for me was 27.7c on the 6th August (2.11pm) . Be interesting if it will beat that, it will get close to it that's for sure.

I was looking forward to today, and it seems to be delivering here in Norwich. Near-unbroken sunshine so far, and the temperature has crept up to 26C, with the chance that we might hit a 27 or 28 this afternoon.
