Looks like main front has now past my location.

No lying snow but the radar shows plenty of hefty showers!

Let it snow let it snow let it snow!

yes those showers coming down from northern scotland are all 15 mins between each other it could give some significant accumulations here when should they reach here? boards.ie ppl said i should expect 4 inches!

Are the hefty showers not still up in Scotland, didn't see any nearby as of yet on the radar, although can't get onto the Netweather 15min radar for some reason.

Rain/sleet stopped here, temps dipping quickly now, went down 1.5c in the last hour.

0.9c and falling, dew point of 0.1c. its overcast but no moisture falling. i would preferthe skies to clear for a while and let temps plummet, and then for the snow showers to push in, so they would have a great chance of settling. thats just me being fussy. i think they would settle regardless as the ground temps are quite cold now, and it would take only one heavy snow shower for it to settle. :):)

Still have temps of 7c in the far south. I dont think any potent showers will make it this far. Did they say something on the RTE forecast about coastal showers along the west (and SWrolleyes.gif ) coast? I hope so
