It will snow in the cotswolds where I am. Always does. But should i put myself in the south west or the midlands?.... Decisions decisions....

Same here, but with different regions. I'm covered by South Western Ambulance Service, I'm in the South West EU Parliament Constituency, but my local news is provided by BBC South! South Central is a pretty nondescript term, so I think I'll use South West! :D

i would of thought we will see a light snow covering tonight..

sleet slipping south and turning to snow

Could be one where a bit of altitude will make all the difference, we are too low here in Gloucester but looking at the DPs locally its all a bit confusing as they are ranging from 1 to 4C and a couple which are virtually next to each other are reading 2 and 4C respectively at Staverton. :whistling:

Will be keeping an eye on this one though to night

Sounds good from here! :nonono:

As for tonight, it could be an interesting one. Caught the BBC South bulletin at lunchtime, said snow over the hills, yet the precipitation depicted was rain, forecast to fall at temps of -1! Might get a few sleet showers in Dorset, we'll wait and see, I'm not holding my breath for anything exceptional...yet!

Mendip hills could maybe get some snow from that ppn heading south west as long as temps don't rise.

Current condtions are cloudy and low cloud mist with temp of 1.3c. dew point of -0.8c drinks.gif Mine will be a Thatchers please....

So far he has avoided the word snow this winter! I just need to hear the term "mendip and snow" in same sentance an i will be happy. yahoo.gif

temp of 1.6c dew point of -1

The main forecast showed snow brushing our area on Thursday/Friday. Looked at bit messy though.

snowing around chipping norton hills

Just goes to show they haven't got a clue. Main news said all precip tonight would be rain.

Richard did say that this cold spell could be around for the next 10 day's. Puts at Christmas eve if that's the case.drinks.gif

need to confirm...

I must add VERY small bits

edit could be light floating drizzle....
