They was already pushing inland as the wind died back :)

So you'll see a gradual decrease in intensification and movement WSW.

It's clearing now, but i hope those showers in the north sea make it far enough inland.

Don't get too excited for the snow as i doubt very much it will settle, don't want to put a damper on things but it took a while for the snow to settle earlier and that was when the temp was -2.c

Within 5 mins earlier it started to settle on most surfaces but it stopped as it was not prolonged enough, during showers temps are dropping to around 0.8 to 1.1c here, so if it comes down hard enough it will settle, if it's light to moderate with long interludes between showers, it won't.

Oh and if you get hail and graupel falling before it goes to big juicy flakes the chances of it settling rises to 80%

How's it looking for Yorkshire's snow prospects during Saturday and Sunday :wallbash:

Areas further inland during sunday early hours, promosing if your in the east of the region, if your slightly further west you could miss out, as the precip seems to be heading S and takes a sudden SE'wards shift.

still hammering it down in Spalding - loads more than forecast - no signs of clearing at the moment.

Could be interesting drive home
