Think this band over the Wesl mountains will again peter out. If it gets here though, i don't see the Shropshire hills as a problem

There we go, lastest radar frame has fizzled out the Welsh stuff that was getting close to the border. Same old same then!

At the start of the day, we were saying that NW, Wales and West Mid were the worst for snow. Today, the NW and South Wales have had snow and we've had nothing, zilch, again

Alright guys, just signed on but have been a frequent reader in the past. Nice to see so many midlanders around the place. This has to be the most shocking, dissapointing cold spell anti climax in recent history. Thursday showers were just to far to the east, last nights so called "significant snow" event brought 25 minutes of freezing rain & today the showers were literally at one point in toucing distance of my window, but fell slightly to the North and east. Pretty frustrating tbh.

:cold: If that's a reference to me then I have never heard that one before!

But at least we all have something in common: frustration and anger at the lack of anything the past 5 days!

i must admit i always thought the SE and the midlands where the best places for snow in england.

Even the sw and wales are getting in on the act tonight.

Id be amazed if mother nature doesnt even it out next cold spell and the midlands gets plastered. :cold:

I doubt we will get anything half decent unfortunately. Looks to be a dry, sunny and very cold week coming up. Perhaps some light snow towards the end of the week, maybe even on Xmas day, but nothing significant.

Thankfully we have the rest of winter to look forward to though.
