Rain? No chance

Your snow should get heavier!

Cheers-

It will interesting to see how the forecasting is handled this week by the beeb--- Looking at the country tracks forecast now on the Iplayer-

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00pr2lt

I think thats a very professional forecast- indeed IF we do get to thurs eve & the pattern is the same I expect the first 'extreme ' weather alert from the Met..

Thats mere speculation for now- the track of the shortwave arond tues /weds is crucial on allowing the air the convergence zone to develop on the Northern flank- of course if it does the orientation will be very much more east West-

I hope todays UKmet model paints the same picture at 120 as it did on the 132/144 panels-

ECm didnt quite look right to me & is reflected in the ECM ensemble suite...

Captivating times-

Steve

Thanks for the link Steve. A breathtaking forecast by Lomaz :) To save everyones search, the forecast is located at 46.13 mins

According to the latest radar, there are some showers building in S Essex right now, could be something to keep an eye on.

Cumulus building just to my east at the moment which backs up the ida that convection is developing in S.Essex, nice developing cell probably over CS Essex at the moment.

also a stunning forecast from Tomaz there, I've got a feeling that could well be one of those we remember in the future like 91, esp with regards to London...he is like the heir to Rob's throne!

you're not wrong, you will probably do quite well later in the week though.

Not confident about my area getting anything significant at all this week unfortunately, time will tell though, good luck to everybody in the coming week.

Tomorrow will be very cold, icy and dry, with a occasional snow shower in Kent. A band of snow expected to push south from the north as we go into Tuesday, and may give a good covering of snow to many areas, beyond that, heavy and frequent snow showers after the band has left, and may give significant falls. Im not going to predict any further on Thursday, with the possibility of some very heavy and prologned snow. It is only a possibility at the moment.
