it might not even reach Northamtpton unfortunately

NMM says YES and that's a highly reliable model. However the snow window has been shortened a bit. It should arrive around midnight if all goes to plan probably finishing around 4am.

But when it first arrives the indications are it will be quite intense so I'd expect it to accumulate very quickly. 4cm+ in an hour is possible.

Based on the 12z NMM we can expect over 3 inches of snow by the morning. :clap:
