A few falkes floating around now, as the showers from the n/e start filtering in.

Nice clump of showers to my north, but looking like missing hear, and going more towards the likes of the North of the city, down to somewhere like Burton.

And stopping! This one's hitting Mansfield, not us. Eyes to the shower between Lincoln and Grimsby, with eyes to the band near Hull.

Actually, forget that shower approaching Lincoln, as it's dying.

Looks like I am going to scrape an ice day here, been -0.1c since noon and with clear skies and a setting sun that should begin to drop sharply very soon.

quite a moderate intensity snow shower here currently, rather large flakes, and should last for 15-20 minutes or so

Well a pleasant surprise this morning. Wasnt expecting any snow today but we got just over 3cm.. Very heavy snow for 45 mins, hard to do a post round in but great fun

I only got the edge of it, just a flurry here. A fairly prolonged one though.

That moved very quick, perhaps that's why it made it over, whereas none others really have

looks like the main of things are over now for our region, we need the sun to go down and freeze what we have so it stays longer. Friday onwards should see showers becoming more and more widespread up until sunday which could be a very special day if it plans out something like the ukmo/ecm. If it goes as per the 06z gfs things wont be quite so good. Last feb saw similar setup bring us 6" on more than one occasion. Should we get some extra snow between now and sunday id expect those who have 5cm+ to have it on the ground for at least 10days.
