Bit lost, I consider my self in East Anglia but which thread is for Essex? I personally found it much easier with just the one thread, especially as what weather was effecting East Anglia and been moving south to affect the south east and vice sersa tomorrow evening.

Anyone else seen Michael Fish's video on BBC website 'Harsh Winters Through The Years' - rather good, looks at the cold winters from 1947 including 1987:

Still edging west the streamer, just hope it doesn't die out before it reaches here ...

Methinks there may be a few people with slightly dirty minds on here - and all because I don't work in metric! And btw, not a sniff of any snow here tonight so far.... :)

Never thought of that...... I have 10 cm's after all then! LOL :)

I shall adopt my usual approach. If the snow is clipping the South East then I'm there, if its in East Anglia I'm up there

And as usual I shall miss out on both fronts

I'm always confused by this, terrestrial and digital tv says I am BBC South East (anglia), sky say I am London BBC news. I'm on the cusp.

Showers developing off the coast of Lowestoft, hopefully if they carry on their track they should hit the Coastline here! That precip over Ipswich should also hit us soon.

Yup... BBC downgraded most of it tomorrow night for East Kent... I'm hoping that isn't true but the met office website still says snow... so dunno where the BBC are getting their stuff from :/

Hi mate, I'm just up the road from you and we've got a pretty decent covering - have you really had that little?? It's been frustrating yesterday and today, an easterly wind is ideal for us but north-easterly useless. The winter is young though!!

We did quite well here in zone 3. . . 4-5cms at least, but some of zones 1 and 2 beat me would you believe lol
