There is a large area of ppn out in the north sea moving towords SE.

It looks like this could hit a larger area as it is just north east of essex.

could see something from this within the next few hours.

Been watching this for a while. Could be interesting over the next few hours as the 'window of opportunity' remains until 03z.

Cloud sheet cover's pretty much all of EA now: http://metoffice.gov.uk/weather/images/ukir_sat_201002102100.jpg

Yeah I've been watching that on the radar to, looking on track for North Kent maybe Medway to Dartford. Fingers crossed it doesn't fizzle out

I first noticed it on the meteogroup radar on my iphone 3gs when i was at a work meeting in chelmsford @4pm.

I am a tradesman and been travelling quiet a bit today and have seen quiet a bit of snow. Made it back home in time though as my van does not like the snow and ice.rolleyes.gif

I expect that is what the warnings for Kent and East Sussex are for, I fear the warnings are accurate and I and the rest of the SE who are not in those areas will just miss out.

Enjoy what you get, those who get it.

Nice selection of showers grouping together over East Suffolk heading into Colchester then Chelmsford shortly.

These one's should reach Eastern parts of London around 10.15 pm

After a fairly brief snow flurry this morning I've seen nowt since :) Skies have cleared now and don't expect to see anymore. I was hoping for another decent snow fall before Winter fades, but don't think that's too likely now. Anyways, certainly been a memorable Winter. :)

I wouldnt mind betting that this band may well reach london as the winds should swing more to an easterly direction. If this does indeed happen many more in the SE may see snow. Just have to keep radar and lampost watch.rolleyes.gif
