Only said more to come which is the case. Nothing big snow-wise from any of my posts apart from one heavy shower earlier in the evening.

Never said you did but the point i am trying to make is that unless a rouge 5 minute light snow shower which will not produce in terms off settling floats your boat. Then may as well turn in see my point?

M20 looks rough tonight, some poor soul is stuck

Poor thing. It will take sometime for someone to rescue him tonight!!

I had a crash there some years ago, hate that road now, even though it was a burst tyre I still shudder when I pass MY crash barrier. [they even billed me for a new one]

Hope he gets rescued soon.

The poor guy looks a bit helpless there Mick. It's ashame we can't give him a helping hand from here.

He's been recovered now Bri. Motorway looks a bit treacherous in Kent

Should go to bed - the rest of the house has now, but one of my cats still wants to play, dashing in and out of the cat flap and batting snow around!drunk.gif

In the last twenty minutes or so, snow has become quite persistent after a lull - mostly moderate, a mix of graupely snow and then fine polysterene and big flakes. Like it is building up to somethingph34r.gifbiggrin.gif

*she says hopefully*

I am off too, have to be up early. I think our showers are over, they are just skimming past us now.

My Cat's just hate Snow, getting on a bit and cannot be bothered with it. lol

Hope all get what they wish for, think Kent will!!

Nite all.

:( Haa haa, this is becoming quite an exclusive club tonight, i had planned on going to bed, the stars were out, but just like your area, it apears to be bulding up to something again here.

So the outside light is on, might have to head out in it again if it kicks off heavy again. The NE wind has also realy picked up here blowing snow all over the place.

My weather station is a useful tool tonight, under clear skys the remote sensor drops to -2c, when a snow cloud arrives it climbs like clock work to -1c.

That's good. It's not the best time of day to be stranded like that.

That's right. You just don't know what kind of wild animal may be roaming the streets.

It's cloudy here and the temperature has shot up from -1.8c to 0.0c on the dot. No snow though...actually just seem 1 flurry but may have been an insect or spec of ash.

I'll be in, for a short while. Was thinking of hopping in bed. Just realised I had not pre-heated the room. I can't sleep when its 9 celsius in there! lol. So got 3 heaters in there to warm it up. Snows stopped here for the moment. But wind is whipping snow everywhere, footprints quickly covered etc.

Just spotted this novel use of the snow outside, wonder if they accepted:

That slightly lumpy area of snow on the beach, thats my snow angel, which has almost been covered already by the blown snow. :D

Gone from white out to just a curtain of snow now, Still very heavy though

Edit: blizzard conditions again.

There might have been much deeper snow in January but this is the heaviest snow I have seen of the winter!!

Whereabouts are you on the Kent borders?

I'm near Rolvenden between Hastings and Ashfordsmile.gif

It seems like a streamer has set up or something

I'm pleased you're getting a good pasting. It makes my 1.5cm covering seem a bit pathetic :good:
