well boring on here init at the mo its amazing how abit of snow would make evryone chat chat away, but lately i find myself just waffling by myself on here LOL

i will take any kinda snow ANY.

off to watch corrie and eastenders, i think ive gone slightly mad. LOL.

Those wanting a snow fix in the coming days will do well to travel up to the Lake District and seek ground above about 500m where there is plenty fresh snow.

The next few days look decidely wintry on the fells, I suspect by the weekend the higher tops will have a very decent cover - the most since the 9th January.

I was walking in Borrowdale and there was alot of sleet in the showers down to very low levels, but snow only above about 300m.

a cold start to today, the car had a slight frost on it lastnight before i went to bed but it was gone when i got up this morning.

current temp 2c.

Hey I wasn't constantly wrong, I just said I would eat my socks if it snowed that one time and it did. :p

Had NOTHING yesterday apart from one spit of rain which deposited 2 drops of rain.

Ye i was surprised but it was definatly sleet because you could see little bits of ice in it when it hit the window

I must confess it didn't get down to the temperature I thought it would, In fact if anything it got stuck at around 7C so not much change in anything yesterday.

A few showers here and there but mostly dry.

Today as started on the mild side, by 8am it reached 9.3C but by 2 it's dropped back to 7C. Very pleasant sunny day though, very spring like rather than wintry lol

I was at hawkshead yesterday and sawrey at hilltop farm with work, there was heavy sleet falling with snow covering the fells

I was in Arnside today - a lovely part of the country. It was a lovely evening with clearing skies and the fells looking good in a white coat. Quite a cold feeling day despite the bright skies and sunny spells and little wind.

It's cloudy here, but with some decent breaks in the clouds already!

So some blue showing, and it's quite bright. :):D
