I'll go for 3.2c. Quite mild at first and cold later, leading into a cold and wintry March. ( He says with no scientific foundation at all )

After a wrong guess in January, I'll go for 3.8c in February after an average first week and a bit and a cooler second half. So overall slightly colder than average

At present it's looking like Feb might both be the mildest month of the official winter and also the month that brings to an end the longish sequence of below average winter months. 5.5C

My January guess was too low and I doubt February will be that much colder so I'll go for 3.8C , a fairly average month with some colder incursions at times but this being balanced out by spells of milder zonality.

Hmm very tricky one at this moment but might aswell get an early guess in so 2.5c for starters but this may get lowered or increased by the end of the month :whistling:

Going to up this to 3.5c now and leave it :whistling:

I'm going for 4.1°C - a typical 1992 - 2008 February I'm afraid.

Since it looks like my January guess is going to be 0.1/0.2c out I'll increase my CET value for February on my winter forecast by 0.2c and say:

4.6c

Playing it safe with a projected guess of 4 degrees.

A mild start becoming increasingly colder mid month with some notable cold weather later in the month. The depth of cold could be such that a much lower CET is recorded, but I will stick with 4 degrees - my last few months guesses have been very poor.

3.8 c for me, a mild start, with alot of wind and rain, but a colder sunnier and frostier ending, the BritIsh weather can change any time, since we are in the middle of major airmasses, a mild start does not mean mild finish to the month, visa versa.

I'm going to go for zonality lasting till mid month (milder periods interspersing with cooler periods), but turning much colder by the last week. I'm punting for 3.7C

Sticking with my 2.4C prediction (2C bwlow average). I expect an easterly/north easterly outbreak lasting a good few days between the 7th-21st with a major northerly outbreak to end the month.
