Quite a few heavy showers here, no thunder yet but angry looking skies.

Should be interesting today, not a big chance of organised thunderstorms but a good rash of pulse type storms throughout many parts with maybe an odd severe storm around.

Has been grumbling for about an hour here near Padstow. A few flashes and a bit of rain. Some mammatus as it slowly moves past. Nothing spectacular but it'll do me.

That's quite an interesting start and not where I though it would begin!

Will be interesting to see where it goes next:

Best of luck everyone!

The drought continues here in the SE corner, bar a couple of large spots of rain over the weekend

Shower has passed, that was quite amazing! It went so dark and the hail so heavy, also saw some decent lightning.

Had around 10mm of rain total over the weekend and a couple of rumbles of thunder - all during the very early morning. This week is looking quite dry (except for far East Kent) and without too many convective possibilities for us in the SE until late Saturday night/Sunday:

Shower heading for Scarborough very soon. Will be listening out for thunder, but it's only a little 'un! :D

On my way to Scarborough and all I can see is a mixture of towering cumulus and blue skies, it looks really nice. :)

It looks like areas north and west of Brimingham will do best with potential thunder today!!

Areas south and east of the Midlands look drier and sunnier, inside an area from Norwich across to Birmingham down to Exeter eastwards/southwards, although a isolated shower or two will be around here!

North West England should see some big ones!!

Just my amatuer observations anyway!

Enjoy all!

Looks like some vicious showers are hugging the North Cornwall coast and heavy rain also reported at Bodmin.

Wondering what the likelihood is for some action in this neck of the woods. (Cheshire/ Merseyside) been starved of late. Currently just dull and overcast right now, but my head is pounding!

I am surprised here so far at the total lack of showers (Had 1 which lasted about a minute) Skies cloudy but not really threatning

Doesn't look like it's going to thunder here, but that cloud is building and is clearly moving up the channel. Looking very dark towards Rame Head and Looe way
