Hi everyone, just wondering whether its worth waiting up here in Stafford for anything tonight. Light rain atm, had a heavy pulse about an hour ago or just under, but thats it so far. Anyone any ideas?

Thanks,

Mike.

Just noticed plenty more PPN filling in in the channel now even to the west...

Nothing but plain old rain here, and it looks like most of it is much further East than forecast, so much of North West England will miss out for a change. Looks like it's Yorkshire's turn.

But it seems there isn't anything electrical in this band until it passed the Blackpool line. West to East.

Also, like my name change? :p:D xD

I'm trying my best to stay happy JL. I'm hoping for my first 'real' storm this year. I'll get one eventually, if not tonight. Positivity is the key. :drinks:

There is a hellofalotta rain out there tonight. Moderate/heavy rain with embedded thunderyness seems the order of the night, excluding those areas currently having proper storms of course - well done!

Can someone with an extra subscription check if a storm to my south east about 30 minutes ago was a pulse type or simply moved out of range, please?

Lost all my cards earlier in the week so I'm buggered till I get my new ones but I'd still like to know.

Seems like a few more sferics associated with this system moving towards me now. At least I think so, I'm new to this.

Ha Ha, you change your name as much as the weather.

Must admit the central region of the uk looks to be in a prime position and my location, Newbury is looking like getting a few hours of moderate stuff. :drinks:

Just please let me have another flash or two mother nature. :diablo:

Cheers

Good for you Johnny,:D

Many of times I've missed out on the storms, but I now always look forward to what's in store in the near future. I've been unlucky for over 3 years now but this year has started with loads of potential. Keep your chin up, your turn will come I'm sure.:D

I've not had chance to look at the radar for a while, but I must say, I'm feeling quite optimistic now. It could be a late night for me. :D

Couldn't agree more I'm in Buckinghamshire and it seems we are in for a few hours of rain, but a few flashes would be nice lol

Moderate rain here - North Notts (NG17 area), still quite humid - 18.7°.

Looks like a lot of rain is heading my way - would anyone like to predict if it's worth me losing precious beauty sleep to stay up to see a storm?
