Ooo what are my chances??? We had a near miss earlier - sky was very dark and had a 2/3 minute heavy downpour..... then nothing!!!

what time was your near miss?

Epic lightning just passed to my North West, bit gutted it totally passed us. BUT you lucky people who have this over you right now. can you blow it back here?

Fantastic storm over Blackpool atm, came from nowhere. Winds, lightening every 20-30 seconds and very loud tunder. No PPN yet though!

Around 5pm?? Between 4.30pm and 5.30pm anyway. It sizzled out :wallbash:

Getting power sags when the lightning flashes now, nearly lost it completely — very bright and very loud!

You have another? Awesome it will be heading my way then!

Just seen one flash to the south, unable to depth the distance so I won't even go there lol. But NW Radar has some strikes to the North of the main sferic core with a new area of convection prepping up so more than likely it was from this area. Just the one flash for now, as I know the main action is completely out of visual range.

Yeh, this is 2-3 times as big...it's over rugeley at the mo, but might be calming down

A very yellowish cloud above us here. Looks very odd. Sadly, no lightning to be seen here now.

Were you on line when I posted my pix a few pages back? It was heading your way like a train. I've never seen a gust front from a storm move so fast before.

Excellent. Will be distant flashes at best for here but night sky may allow more to be seen. :D
