If it's any consolation I've had to put in a claim for a new windscreen so the car passes it's MOT on Thursday and my car insurance quote went up by £80 ..not happy since I have a £100 excess and have just paid for chasing and travel insurance :80:

Know how you feel, I just paid £1200 for a brand new turbo, plus £300 for new brake pads, so I'm now on a financial diet. :cray:

Annual Travel Insurance are alright (www.annualtravelinsurance.com) I saved £90 by buying an annual policy with them. Stormchasing is covered by their Grade 4 activities but ou may need to stump up for the Super Plus cover as the medical claim limits are half than those on their normal policies

Originally i would have said insure with Gowalkabout however they seem to have changed their mind - i was one of the last to get cover from them - As for United Airlines , no i am not flying with them - but i like them = what time is your flight and where too?

I'm flying with BA and there's a form to fill in that asks for the first hotel we'll be staying in once arriving, does anyone know which one it is?

And for tour 5?

Ian Michaelwaite is still your man Quentin! I have had quite a few of the others on Tour 5 ask me but at the moment even I have not been told of the Hotel for the 1st Night, Believe me I am chasing this as well as I will be driving from DFW To Denver with Ian Cameron and Claire as my passengers.

Might be an idea to Pm Paul Michaelwaite to find out if he knows the Hotel for landing on Tour 5.

Hi all

anyone still needing to flights wait till after the bank holidays as the price will come down a little more than what is showing at the moment

the one flight i have been looking at for anybody on a budget is lufthansa/ air canada via torronto sub £500(£470) times not too bad either but my budget will allow a sub £575 flight with ba if available in the next couple of weeks.
