All went quiet for a bit but seems like another cell is moving in from the south/south west. Thunder is rumbling away but haven't seen much lightening, until just now! Nice booming thunder too. Just hope this cold front sticks around for a while and keeps feeding the storms this way, been a bit starved!

liam.

Looks like the cell is exploding now!

i am in sth lincs and that puzzled me to, the low cloud heading south. just had to plug everything back in here, had some good lightening and thunder, so wife makes me unplug everything since the house was struck by lightening, cant say i blame her.

Afternoon

Suprisingly benign skies here considering the explosions of activity within 10-20m both West and now East. Considering walking to town without an umbrella which will no doubt trigger the rapid development of a High Precipitation Supercell directly over East London. :p

It's over here. Incredible storm, haven't seen one like this here for years and years. Some massive strikes and deafening boooms. Heaviest rainfall rate recorded here since started recording data nearly 10 years ago.

Terrific storm here, very frequent CG lightning every 10 seconds, thunder and heavy rain. Lightning strikes very close to here!! Best storm since the lengthy storm in July 2009.
