Check dn5 people!!! Can hear thunder!

its on my door step!!

Best storm i have had so far this summer, just a few rumbles now as the storm clears. If it hits you it should be good!

Will there be any more convection or is that our lot for the night? I'm quite pleased about today, despite not being underneath the storm. I got some nice pictures, saw lightning and heard some nice thunder. Another to add to the thunder days list, which now is on six days.

Hopefully I'll get hit directly tomorrow. :good:

That lot to the SW of Darlington looks very juice, but I suspect that it will be little more than light drizzle by the time it reaches the great northeast dry.gif

Have just had the most monumental downpour of rain I've ever seen unaccompanied by hail, thunder or lightning - at least 15mm of rain in last ten minutes. Still coming down but not as heavy but more to come.

Heard thunder earlier to the southwest but nothing overhead - just lots of very heavy or torrential downpours today.
