Although it has snowed a few times it has never settled here this winter. It would be very unusual to have a whole winter period of no lying snow here.

3 snow events here and nothing has come of them (unless you count about a cm for a few hours). Even today has produced nothing despite brilliant-looking forecasts from the BBC and NAE.

Well and truly in the club. This winter for my neck of the woods is right down there with the absolute worst. No lying snow at all. Perhaps an hour of falling slushy trash on ONE day in December. Ugh! If I could kick this pathetic apology for a winter out on its sorry backside right now I'd do it.

Lovely views here in the Wisbech area this morning, around an inch and half of fresh snow covering up all the melted bits from the 6-7 inches received saturday night, been a good two weeks of some hard frosts and snow, after missing out on the snow last winter really happy with this especially after a mild first half to the winter.

There is still some chances on the horizon, and also it has been quite common to get snow even in the SE during March, i remember reading about easterly's a few years back and that there is actually a higher risk of getting one during March then other months of winter and spring! and it has been recorded that snowfall had occured in April in this area to! (although along time ago, il look it up and post it if i find the info)
