This is going to cause a logistical nightmare for the MetO, Highways Agency & Councils if they haven't already put out a enforcement plan in dealing with this streamer. The last BBC Breakfast weather update still had the snow falling in central/southern parts with the NW only seeing 'flurries' as they put it. What we just went through wasn't a 'flurry' topping up 3cm now. With even more to come.

I'd be able to see the Cat & Fiddle road myself, if it wasn't for the fact visibility here is less than half a mile due to the snowfall and cloud base. But yes being so close to Shining Tor it's almost in a world of its own, many times we've just had rain/sleet at best here while the pass has been completely cut-off only 5 miles up the Goyt.

not a flurry here lol, a hour of snow :D slowing at times, but comes back to huge flakes :D

Oww Im so jealous of you guys atm, why couldn't all this come a day later...I'm coming home to Southport at 10pm tonight :(
