Wait until they get older

I hope so...I need some interesting model prospects to tear me away from late night Playstation which is what i default too when bored of the weather offerings and as i get addicted to it even more than the weather it means post 2am bedtimes with a baby who gets up at 6.30am......ironically though if snow prospects are good I simply then lampost watch to early hours #winwin #shouldnt hav bought the kids a PS3 #wife wants to know what 2 girls age 6 and 20mths need a PS3 and Fifa12 for!! lets not be sexist love i said

Wait until they get a bit older. You won't get near the P.S., Wi, XBox or whatever is in at the time!

Meanwhile it has stayed fairly cool here. Now 3.3C. Max so far today 3.9C and min -0.9C.

Models still causing loads of consternation.

ps What happened last night? Couldn't get in at all to the forum.

Another run of the models and the MT gets a little scary.... A few ifs and buts still to follow i think!

Missed recent runs so it would be great if someone could describe what the models have been showing today and if we are on the right track for a step towards an interesting month in February.

Possible ridging, blocking, PV disintegration, Bartletts, more babies runs needed. No change in other words, or rather lots of change, too much to handle.

Mice in the machinery of the forum caused some downtime..Regarding the models the 50:50 evolution is still being suggested in the MetO longer term forecast.

18z and 06z GFS were full of Eastern promise, 12z not so much but still following the trend. Awaiting the ECM to see what it does with the Iceland low round about 96 - 120 hours, how this drives SE then East is important as this is the trigger low for an Easterly.

I would expect to see the models flip a few times before getting the Siberian Blast.. also some Northerlies popping up in lower resolution part of the GFS afternoon run.

However, trying to predict whether it will deliver is really impossible at this range; hence the meto fence sitting.

Am waiting on the snaw to test oot my new guttering fir last year. 2 years on the trot we lost our guttering to lots of snaw. Must have help jinx it with the new guttering this year, although it's 100mph wind proof. :D

Lol well our fence is not....neighbours guttering came off last year and we have identical houses so got lucky....I still remember the panic when the avalanche came off my roof and narrowly avoided ripping ours off....I was a tad scared at the noise....anyway gfs12z rolling out....any chance of pub run I wonder

Quite a few ne and e flows showing up on gfs and ECM but well into FI....whilst other factors make it more likely this time I will wait till they are 144 away with cross agreement before getting excited...still moving in right direction....right I'm away to kick some teenagers butts on PS3 and will return later for the experts views....
