Temperture just starting falling rapidly again. Down about 0.5c in half an hour. 2.2c. Still no snow though.

Snowing here now - can't be far away from turning to snow for you now as well

Snowing here :yahoo:

Hopefully that's good news for me! Still sleet here but there's more and more snowflakes appearing in the sleet, very light though.. Just hope we can get some of it to stick!

Just been up to Snowdonia.

Snow line was 300m, where there was around an inch. It was coming down heavy in an un-forecast strong 40mph wind (Met Office screwed that up)

Snow falling level is about 200m, and it's currently sleeting at about 100-150m.

CRACKING day out, pictures to follow. :D

0.0C at 400m.

well the bwlch is well covered now and roads have a tidy amount on them as well,i would say snow level sticking 300m bad after 400m. the snow is down to my level but not really sticking 268m and then nantymoel is about 200m and its more sleet or very wet snow, and down in ogmore sleet and rain mix, unless something dramatic happens this event wont give anywhere near the 4 inches that have been spoken about, unless u are at 400 to 500m asl.

also on bbc weather they say stops from 11 tonight and then rain tomor for a short time. but then as the week goes on becoming very very cold.

Hey - that sort of operation would have cost you a fortune if you'd gone private.

surely you would have noticed if you need to sit down to spend a penny LOL! ;)

Evening Jackone/Marcus surfer,

I'm in dunvant, how confident are you guys that this prceipitation is going to change to the white stuff tonight?

P.S any chance someone can put up a link to a radar please.

Radar shows some heavier precipitation moving sse, out of the Irish Sea, towards Pembrokeshire/W Carmarthenshire now- should help further turn the rain to snow at lower levels, I'd have thought.

2c and, at last, there's just a bit of sleet in it!

Agreed. I don't think many are going to get much out of this to be honest. Even though it has turned to snow in Nantymoel now it is still very light.

Very wet sleety snow now, good drop in temps, 0.9c, and 0.2 dp, just as it starts to ease off!

Just as the sleet decided to turn to snow here in Pontyberem (between Llanelli & Carmarthen) it has eased off and almost completely stopped. Argh! Frustrating! Hope that isn't our lot.
