Sounds good! I've only ever experienced proper thunder snow 8 or so years ago when that cold front moved south. Plus in those days I was Essex Snow, lol.

Wasn't that fun?? I have never seen anything like that in my life and I lived in Aspen for a while!!! 2 inches in 10 mins!!!

I think were slowly loosing this snow / rain fight here, it's still falling, and settling, but it's not really adding to the light dusting we have, it's a kinda stale mate situation here at the moment, it's falling, but the dew point (now at +0.2) and rising temperature (2.0) is making it melt as soon as it lands (I think), early days though , I still think I'll wake up to a decent covering

...if you get up early enough (like 4am)!

Is it me, or is the snow in London glittering some how? It's like glitter is falling from the sky instead of snow lol

I thought the same! It's really glittery - seems quite icy as it settles, if that makes sense!

On Steve's scale, I'd say in Reigate about 4 or 5... Covering everything but not more than 1cm at present...

Dad texted from Horsham about 15 mins ago... Optimistically reports 1 inch...

Nope, just missed out Thurrock and Hornchurch reported in first. Had to turn on the 500 watt garden light, so its a 1 on the Murr scale.

Only areas getting close to postiive figures in this area are on the southern coastal lines in the south east, it's -2C here and feeling bitter

Starting to get nailed up here. If the intensity continues as it is then the SE has alot to look forward to later.
