My views are pretty much the same on my earlier post, but I extend my higher snow accumulations across East Yorkshire N/NE Lincolnshire near and heading down towards the Wash.

South Yorkshire still looking good though later.

Latest NAE has it further East, and current output roughly matches the current positioning of the precipitation.

Moderate rain here in Leeds. Van says it's just above freezing by half a degree.

Snow is very heavy now. Lost visibility of Seamer Moor behind my house. Snow settling easily on side roads now with only the main road outside my house still clear of settling snow. This is proper snow with large flakes unlike the powdery stuff we had last time. Means the driveway is already covered and bar 1 big drift, we had no snow on the drive after the last event

Rain rain rain.. yawn yawn yawn.. we were under one of those darker echos on the radar, but still light rain and drizzle.. so I'm not expecting any sniff of snow whatsoever. So fr now, I bid you good day!

Gotta pull you up on that one. This isn't "proper snow", it's a sign that conditions are close to marginal at the moment. The powder snow we enjoyed last week was "proper snow", so to speak. Nevertheless, good stuff! :)

Snow becoming moderate in nature and quite intense, bit like a re-run the other day!
