When are we allowed to RAMP? :yahoo: All this mass is currently falling as freezing rain, sleet and snow and is heading due SOUTH. This is however, expected to change to a more SW'ly flow later on. :good:

Fair enough PompeyFC, but would you believe the BBC graphics over the actual radar? :whistling: As ever, time will tell.

Looks like the heavier stuff in the NW if on current track has got its name written all over us coasties. Heres hoping. good luck to all. A special thanks to GTLTW for running this thread, Its a thankless job and time consuming. Cheers,

Thankyou kindly, all I wish is for a nice well tempered thread and awidespread snow event where it snows on everybody's house across the whole region. Is that too much to ask? :shok:

hope every one has a lampost and tape measure at the ready!

the current 2 week cold spell is still pressing on.

If you see a bit of snow tonight or not then please your time will come.

areas on the coast are always going to be marginal, thats the peril of living by the sea in the u.k

Remember when it`s hot in the summer and you all pop down the beach in the evening all us in land have to travel to ge tto the sea

yes because the front is supposed to weaken considerably as it gets further south - so it is feasible and I have seen it happen

Seems to me all the findus crispy pancakes are throwing toys out of the pram, not like them

These showers in Berks and North Hants are just the aperitif. Be prepared for them to fizzle out before the main event. Please, please, please let's keep the orange and red bits and don't let it break down.....

Please don't wind these coasties up as tempers can get frayed quite easily in here, including mine as I try to gain control of the kids classroom. ;) Even, when their hopes for snow are the best they've been all year, some still remain pessimistic or as they like to say, realistic.

Evening everyone. Currently temp 0c, dewpoint -3c and humidity 80%.

No sign of any snow here yet, despite staring intensely at a lamp post for 5 mins!

Looks like the MetO have got this one pretty much spot on. In this region it looks as if Berks has a reasonably good chance of 2-5cms, but probably only a dusting for north and north west Hants. Nothing for Dorset.
