well this looks like one of the greatest snow events us softy southerners will have witnessed! been on the phone to some pros and they confitm it all looks good! im going to ring the relatives and tell them to get supplies and be prepared for the worst...

Can you please elaborate as to who you know and what you know as without this knowledge being available to us all, I won't be believing a word of it. :rofl:

NMM 6z indeed looks good for you guys with snow feeding by the evening and continuing until early tomorrow morning, especially in Wiltshire and Dorset.

Temp above freezing down here, and at current rate will take 8 hours to reach freezing point. Overcast so falling temps are a struggle in these conditions.

I optimistically think you will be proved wrong. It was overcast here all day yesterday and I received an ICE day so I don't it will count for much. :good:

I actually feel very optimistic for you and as far as I am also being realistic. One thing I don't know anything about is your local topography and that as ever will count in this particular situation. :drinks:

Let us keep this nice happy situation going in here and for once, the lap of the gods might be shining on us all.

I'll attempt to do some radar grabs later on.

When are we allowed to RAMP? :yahoo: All this mass is currently falling as freezing rain, sleet and snow and is heading due SOUTH. This is however, expected to change to a more SW'ly flow later on. :good:

got my fingers crossed for a bit of snow :spiteful: it snowed here this morning................well sort of !!! the flakes were tiny and it was incredibly light lol
