At last, proper snow in Southampton! Laying on Cars, pavements etc - pretty light, but is still giving a decent dusting.

More heavier stuff to come by the looks of it.

I'm here PB and Nick L is down the pub as usual, mind you he is participating in a quiz so good to know he's keeping his braincells active as well.

If that band to our North continues to head closer and keep upo its intensity, I may well post another radar grab later.

with a DP of -5 and rising slightly, perfect conditions. This is going to be a great event for us coasties as the wind is as thought, coming from the east.

You'll get some snowfall, sure of it. Everything is perfect for it. even on the extreme cost like I am - i'm getting snow.

Great the Met Office forecast now predicts rain/ snow then 3 hours later rain for the southcoast

Good to see your reports again, let us know what the reality is rather than what the metO or beeb are suggesting will happen.

Radars and lamp-posts don't lie and they are the best means for now as the forecasts are always out of date.

Yep, agreed. Wind perfect too - coming from the east, and the PPN is only heading for us.....
