There is a blob bt on netwx radar in line with me that is light blue but it wont move. Think it might be a hige echo. It been there for hours

I got a 2min shower. I was right on the edge.

That blob keeps dissapearing also

Looks like either a bogus echo, anaprop or a shower that's rooted to the ground by a large rope.

Wow unlucky mate, you missed a belter of a shower!!!

Yes it intensified on radar as it hit here

Any measurable snow, or is it melting rapidly like mine did?

I did yeah, had to pull it away from you and HC, me being greedy, sorry. :D

Aye not much, maybe just shy of cm

Ah we didn't get that much. I got a dusting that melted as soon as it stopped.

Enjoy, looks to be a little more for you. Hopefully something will develop a long the Flyde coast again.

Yeah anything that does fall will probably struggle to last tomorrow as the sun rises. 5C surface temperatures suck for sustaining a slight covering of snow.

10 minute shower en-route to you.

Cold, unstable NW'lys are the holy grail for here.....it's akin to an E'ly for Kent, Norfolk etc

That's the great thing about polar Nw'lys, they can be acheived right into April

A walk around any of the western Peak District hills/edges overlooking the Cheshire plain will be interesting into tomorrow as clear skies this way lead onto showers streaming in off the Irish Sea, close enough to be observed in crystal-clear skies but far away enough to keep the camera gear (and myself) dry. I'll be scouting a couple of locations in the morning myself.

Clear and sunny dawn here with a current temp of -1.7c, the heating got cranked up early!

Dusting of snow right across the west midlands this morning from the Flintshire hills in Wales to Stoke, Birmingham and Shropshire. Winds veered too northerly for showers here in north Cheshire, but enough of a westerly influence to keep a frost at bay, just a bit of ice on the car.

You say this every damn hour. It's getting old, give it a rest already!!

Just seen this, and I have too say it's a bit rich from someone who bigs up every non event. Anyhow lovely morning here, temps just hovering above freezing, lovely blue skies, and warm sunshine.

Regardless of what people say, I did well with my forecast last night, as it did snow here, and in many other places in the South of the region, and as predicted, I got my dusting. Little bits of that still remain. Even Crewe had some snow.

Thank you, and have a nice day.
