Fun times leaving work, cloud burst at gyle traffic road blocked.

Some very heavy skies and deep long lasting thunder to the west...

Radar showing some healthy cells too ! Good stuff

In Bearsden there was a very heavy rain shower at 3pm. The radar shows some very heavy rainfall to the east so Torrance is getting hit.

Muggy and mild here after the early rain cleared. Max was 19.6C. Now looking more like haar than storms as cloud comes in off the North Sea.sad.png

A really impressive heavy rainfall earlier with rumbles of thunder and some lightning and a very impressive sky. There's a lot of red and a bit of white appearing on the met office radar - I wonder what precip falling as snow and appearing as white on the radar would be like.

Fair bit of disruption on the trains in and around Glasgow and Edinburgh areas due to flooding

STOLEN - Please circulate...big, yellow, warming object. Normally in sky between the months of May onwards. Sometimes timid, but greatly missed. Please return to owner asap

Odd day here, started coolish and grey of course but the sun appeared at the same time as it started to rain wacko.png then it cleared off and some wierd foggy haar-like stuff started appearing in random places, like, in the sky usually but not always over water... Pretty warm & humid but no thud or blunder here. Wtf sort of weather really.

It seems like there was a funnel cloud in the vicinity of Paisley- according to the Convective weather discussion.

No rain, no storms, no nothing. Just this wet blanket of fog that has wrapped itself around everything.

Fed up!!!!

I don't think this weather's amusing - ha ha ha.

Oops, sorry, typos. I meant:

Haar haar haar.

:)

Either that or the rising crime rate in the Lothians has got worse and someone's half-inched the Pentlands, the Braids and Blackford...

Aurora Storm tells me there was a strike on some of the Oservatory buildings yesterday but here in North Berwick the afternoon was mostly good although we have sea fog this morning. Quite mild and humid.

Just driven down to Liverpool for the day, so drive back home might be interesting. M74\M6 border saw a few storm clouds building, very dark indeed.

Currently 23C here, after 16C at 6am.
