I think this is what the met are worries about...Nadine looks like she is going to throw her toys out of the pram when she comes in contact with us..A long way of yet but Southern England hold on lots of rain by the looks of it...

More like throw her false teeth at us from her mobility scooter the age she is now.....but certainly looks as if there is going to be quite a bit of wet stuff for some !

So is it chilli tonight then as in the food not the temperature chilly !

My beef casserole was tasty, first time I've used the slow cooker this autumn but the only problem with working from home is having to smell it cooking all day, it made me so hungry !

Five very soggy foxes sat here. Fairly wet evening here in the west.

No, I've had a terrible diet at work today.

I had a microwave chicken teriyaki for lunch, which was fine. The trouble is that someone then announced it was their birthday and they'd laid out some snacks; hence I then had three sausage rolls, a chocolate eclair, some maltesers and a few jelly babies!bad.gif

I think I might eat some salad now.rolleyes.gif All the chilli I have is in the freezer too.

They've come for some food and to sit under the gazebo! Wolfie is here waiting for some of my chicken Katsu! He's an old dog fox been visiting us a few years now.

Miserable night here, dark and damp - I was going to open a bottle of wine but I think I might have some honey rum instead

Interesting to see the GFS hinting on a few occasions of a chilly/cold set up by week 2 for this month. One to watch i believe and also i think this winter will have no comparison to last,This time last year it was 28c and people tanning up.

Very right..The steam fair comes nearly at the same time each year to the normal spot about 4 miles away...We always go! Last year we went in shorts and t-shirt, i remember taking my girlfriend and we sat on the grass with a fanta and candy floss and won some bubbles on one of the stands (I know we are hard core 18 year olds) and managed to get about 10 kids running around popping these bubbles and having a great time...And the grass still had that yellow burnt look to it...

This year is different...Much colder..wetter (this time of the month) bring on winter!

I put it all down to my fur trapper hat… ever since I bought it in Washington State a few years ago, winters have been brilliant… It's a magic trapper hat!

Guildford Met Office forecast suggest hail by 1am. For Aldershot too.

I'll believe it when I see it (or rather hear it).
