Off topic I know but as it's Remembrance Sunday I thought I would share this one with you all on here...

RIP to every soldier who has fallen for our country, we have so much to be grateful to our armed forces for past and present.

Some pictures from near to me, this morning. It was a bit awkward in parts, as there is lots of mud and salt marsh down there, so I couldn't take photos from where I wanted in most places.

Absolutely cracking set of photos Steve C.

Not a cloud to be seen here, and the yellow autumnal leaves against a clear blue sky are a wonderful sight.

See this is part of winter I can get on with. Although cold, the wind is calm and the sun warms your face. This and lots of snow I can live with. Cold, windy and dull just make me mope about.

What a gorgeous day with total sunshine - wonderful! Even some ballooning was done, which has been rare in recent weeks..smile.png

Overnight low of -2.3c here in Headington,Oxon. Todays high was 8.3c. Light winds throughout

Currently 6.1c and set to tumble soon under clear skies.

Well I was thinking of taking up paragliding as a new hobby this afternoon until I saw someone crash into a bush....

oops.gif I know you shouldn't laugh but the poor chap was okay apart from lots of scratches from the brambles, he came down shouting all manner of expletives and it took a good couple of hours to cut his lines free, so that's another adrenaline sport I will be giving a miss!

Good evening all. I've just been in the Model Forecast thread and wish I hadn't. There's some weird cold, warm, wet, dry weather coming our way, all covered in chocolate. So nice to be back in this thread, looking at some beautiful pictures. Personally I don't think we will get any snow until after Christmas, but I think I'm alone in this extremely non-scientific opinion. blush.png

Interesting when you drive up the hill in winter and watch the temperature drop, spent many a time at the zoo there with ice in the puddles and snow flakes falling. A small price to pay for cheaper admmission and taking your car ingood.gif

I looked in the model thread about a day ago and could tell by the number of posts ans lack of certain members that average temperatures were on the way and no white stuff was going to be falling in the near future, having said that we haven't started the winter months yet. I noticed that Toys R us were giving 20% discount so watch for more toys out of the pram posts in the future weeksrofl.gif
