Shoreham Beach weather station is currently showing 36.8mph with a maximum of 39.6mph with the pressure falling at -2.4mb/hr

I have now John, Thanks to your update.

Doesn't look good, even for the Southeast really. Plenty of rain to come in this region but of course, our thoughts should be with the other effected regions for now.

These setups (i.e. channel lows, frequent rain to snow events, deluges and blizzards) are reminiscent of the 60s and 70s style winters of old, or so I've heard.

Its going to be a most fascinating final week of November and beginning of December for a vast part of the UK. Will it include our region, for now we'll have to wait and see.
