In work, after a breakfast of Levi Roots Reggae Reggae Chicken with Spicy Jamaican Curry Sauce – there’s a reason for such a weird breakfast...

Absolutely filthy drive into work this morning with vehicles recycling the copious salt that’s now on the roads. The worst commute of the season for the road muck. I hope that the predicted 10-13 mm of rain for my location today, from the recent NMM model here, washes most of it away. Interestingly a lot of Kent is expected to have twice my area’s rainfall.

Happy POETS day to you all and have a nice weekend. My Christmas mentality starts for me after daylight hours today, as my local is doing a couple of Christmas functions this weekend.

Just about 4 deg here although with the wind it feels much colder and a while ago it was like night, lets look on the bright side we could have been facing an easterly wind and heavy snow showers if last weeks charts had come true and who wants that

Morning all! A lovely 5.2c here at the moment. We had very fine rain on the school run at 8:15am and it was really dark. Seems to have cleared through now. Waiting for the big stuff to arrive.

Well i was wrong the wind has still got a bite in it,fingers a tad numb.

i cant see us getting double figures,i mean we said before ave about 10 c.

So i feel it will be mostly still below average. x

I happened to be driving past the ECM HQ in Reading this morning at around 7am. The car in front of me had the number plate EC12 GFS and turned into the ECM's entrance. I suspect collusion! (Note that this post may be slightly fictionalised for literary purposes)

Well I don't think its mild! It's not as cold as it has been but some how the wind and dampness is worse that the freezing temps of late!

Just trying to interpret this radar...

I'm wondering whether the back edge of the main rain is coming into the south coast area now and the other stuff in the Channel (admittedly loads of it) is convective? I.e. the south coast will suffer lots of prolonged showers, but areas much further inland will begin to dry up as the (possible) back edge moves through?
