Pretty much stopped here now.....what a let down. Not even a mm to measure TBH

Such a shame the ppn was so light. I got a little lucky here and fell in line for some heavier back edge ppn. Not a great deal but enough to give a slight covering. First snow of the winter - lets hope it's not the last good.gif

Nothing for us full stop I'd say. For the whole of the winter. Only good places for snow in the uk are the east and south east. Even the south west and South Wales are infinitely better. Only worse place to live is Ireland. Whole of.

Something seems to be developing out of seemingly nothing in the Irish Sea, there's also precipitation forming coming in to the Wirral according to the 19.55 radar?

Was the second band what pepped up this main band a little? I remember BBC saying that the second band would be 'hot on the heels' of the first one....

Falls in nicely with the Met Office 9pm forecast for heavy snow for most of the region.

Looks like a few showers developing behind the front.

Would that include Merseyside BT?

A warm Irish Sea with air wrapping from a NW direction could easily bring pptn off the Sea into our region.

You surely can't be pinning your hopes on that crewe. No way is it gonna deliver.

Haha I'm desperate, need snow, deprived of sleep etc etc. Getting fed up now!

Yep ppt n...but not snow. No chance, it's a low level damp squid again
