On twitter liam dutton and matt hugo talking about the holy grail scenario

I dont wish to put a dampener on things but fergie also says cold and dry is the message they have been given and i dont like the GEFS although the ECM suite is still good, of course it could happen although i still think another scandi block in 2 weeks time is the most likely route to cold although thats a gut feel. Met Office map does show snow again all the way down the East and penetrating quite far inland although thats probably just a relflection of th UKMO op. A slightly disappointing day of model output but still all to play for on the 0z runs.

Still coming down here but making a judgement call here that its better to get sleep now while ppn light and no model output and get up later, good luck rest.

Well weve had nowt since about 10.30 here and ive lost my lampost now as me and my 5 yr old son and did a moonlit flit to my parents less than a mile up the road as his dad needs to rest, got this horrible cold virus almost flu, my son isnt well either, but as we were taking everything out to the car, it seemed to be thawing abit. Been outside while here and theres a bit of sleet coming down now, nothing like before, temps dropped a degree now, from 3 to 2.

Pretty much non stop so far, stopping only for a few mins when it does. Easily up to 2inches, despite how light it has been. Good Stuff

God, look at that streamer over Wrexham :S

raintoday radar living up to its name and showing latest precipitation as rain out to the west. Will it wash away what little covering we have when it reaches here?
