Hi PO nice to see you commenting on here again, been asking for a few hours if this will fall as snow as I am still at 3c and -4c dewpoint, and I can only assume you believe it will.

I certainly do believe this will be snow. This takes me back to a set up in 1986, just pulled the charts out, looks practically identical but the sea then was two degrees colder, the warmer sea is fueling this. I am used to Lake Snow effects in the states a lot with my storm chasing and this is exactly what we have here. Experience is what counts now, not charts, if you look at the variables, wind direction and more, I have NE at 18 MPH currently at ground level and I can see the radar performing exactly the same. So I am confident that your points will change. Only time will tell.

xcweather.co.uk

Check it there

Mine stil says --:-- even though I just changed the batteries!

Thanks - very useful. Although my nearest station Kenley, doesn't have reading, everywhere else seems to have a dewpoint of -2. It seems like my Fine Offset WH1080 weather station is overdoing the temp by 1.5deg (as I suspected) which is causing the inconsisitency. I'll have to rely on the £20 lidl job for the outside temp.

Cant get ny f*****in outside part of the weather station going after new batteries,

But its def still snowing lightly here in Kennington.

If it carries on like this til the end of March, we might get 5mm!!

Whys my weather station decided right now is a good time to pack up??

This is #Blobwatch in full affect! Don't you just love it, if only wind could shift to more of an ENE then you know what might happen!

Majority of Kent should get hit, I just had a message from a friend who is senior at the gritters in Kent, and they just received a special warning from Met office to expect snow upto 5 to 6" as far west as the boundares of the county, so they are expecting like I have plotted it.

Does this include us on West Kent South East London border you reckon?:-)

Is should've said this is moving west and south.

So, as long as you know where you are on the map, you dont have to keep asking, "will it snow in...."
