That blob in the North Sea will that be going south into Kent, or south west towards London and home counties?

ETA: 2 hours ?

Yep, possibly quicker at it's current rate. More experienced members may have a better idea

Steve,

That is exactly the point i made earlier to you. If you are going to punt for snow showers for Tuesday & Wednesday then please label it as far se and into kent. As this leaves those 'inexperienced' at model reading in the west of the se confused and this in turn gets those posting ' Is it going to snow imby '. Which does bug others in this thread as mentioned by some earlier.

Agree, the way I read Steve's post was that London and suburbs were not in the frame.

Looks like it will clip far SE, East Kent:

Good chart shows where it will end up.

It won't make it further west than Kent unfortunately, the strength and direction of the wind doesn't support it :-(

Sadly you are probably right. The upper winds should carry this to Kent before it heads south.

Question,if it lasts long enough, what will happen when the "blob" meets the front heading our way in a few hours time?

Regarding my previous point made earlier to those watching for developments overnight and watching the radar for the band out west.

Taking a look at the n-w radar for which Jezzer has kindly posted a link above.

Look out to the west of Cardiff and we see a more strong organised band of ppn heading our way. Lets hope it stays together and grows as the evening goes on.

On the subject of whats coming in from the south east coast - More organised showers maybe merging together however may not travel further inland than Kent which again is a shame for us further west.
