Let the radar watching commence! Those showers in the north sea look like our best chance tonight.

It looks to me that it is heavier than the snow on the front and if we can get this into our area overnight and get a covering then we do stand a bit of a chance of the front staying as snow because the cold will moderate the warm sector to a certain extent. what do more experienced posters think

Apologies if this has been covered, but is there an issue with the NW V6 radar at the mo?

It's looking good for most of Kent, looks like the MO warnings for Kent are looking spot on, as you said hopefully it will aid the likelihood of snow via the front tomorrow. Looks like tonight could trump many accumulations via the front anyway! :)

Just coming in to ask, is tomorrow back to a all snow event, according to the ecm, or is it still partially rain? sorry.gif

Aiding the front tomorrow not sure, if we get a covering rain might be freezing on frozen surfaces. But if it can help cool the lower air might keep as sleet/wet snow? Anyones guess.....
