Few cm here, roads and pavements clear. My weather station registers -1.1 currently. Not sure how accurate that is. If there's anyone near me who could compare their readings i would really appreciate the feedback

For Yorks:

Today:

Starting with icy stretches on untreated surfaces, followed by snow spreading east this morning, perhaps becoming locally heavy. This afternoon the snow will persist in many places. Accumulations up to10cm are generally expected, but possibly to 15cm over high ground. Maximum temperature 2 °C.

East Mids:

Today:

Starting with icy stretches on untreated surfaces, followed by snow spreading east this later morning and this afternoon. Some locally heavy snowfall is possible, especially across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, giving 5-10cm of snow. Elsewhere 2-5cm is expected to accumulate. Maximum temperature 2 °C.

spalding will be fine, only 1cm tops here at the mo, and no snow falling

Light dusting here with a temp of 0c. Off to leeds and then back to doncaster in the heaviest of the snow band. great. :)

About 3cm on all surfaces, I'm not sure what happened here tbh. When I went to sleep we had a 0.5cm covering now we have a few cm's yet the radar didn't show much.

Hope the front stalls when it gets here..looking at the speed its moving it'll be a case of blink and you'll miss it otherwise

A cm of snow cover here in Grimsbym nothing to exciting yet but nice to see non the less. Met office seem quite bullish about later on so we will see.

Same here i would say about 2.5cm so the bbc were spot on with amounts, the real show starts later for Lincs though.

Light dusting here just NE of Scunny, as posted last night the most feeble of intensity when it snowed so must have picked up a bit to manage the light covering we have here, supposed to be working near Caistor today and the wolds heres hoping later delivers and can get some pics good.gif

Snow on cars grass etc, not on paths or roads, got to hope that the snow coming in today settles help.gif it all about the dew points staying low if we want it to settle on all things today acute.gif

Temps dropping here, briefly rose to 0.2c at 5am, been dropping slowly since.

Currently -0.2c
